Is Deku gambling?
No. Deku tournaments are contests of skill. Everyone gets the same starting board, scoring follows fixed published rules, and nothing during play is left to luck.

Deku tournaments are built so that the better player wins:
- Same start for everyone. Every player in a tournament gets the identical deal, grid or puzzle.
- Fixed rules. Scores follow published formulas that apply to every player the same way. There are no random multipliers or lucky draws.
- No chance in ties. Ties are settled by published rules or split evenly, never by a coin flip.
Acorns have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value.
