Why can't I enter cash tournaments?
Usually it is your location, a missing or failed identity check, an active limit or break, or a hold on cash play. Free tournaments often still work.

Work through this list. The message in the app usually points to the right one.
- Location. Cash tournaments are only open in eligible states, and the app needs location access to confirm where you are. Turn off any VPN or private relay. See Why does Deku need my location?
- Identity verification. A failed check pauses cash play until you pass. See What if my identity verification fails?
- Age. Cash play is limited to players who meet the minimum age.
- Your own limits. A self-exclusion or a break between tournaments blocks new entries until it ends. See Limits and self-exclusion.
- Balance. Make sure you have enough cash or bonus cash for the entry fee.
- A hold on cash play. If the app says cash tournaments are unavailable on your account, email support@deku.net.
