How do I play Soltara?

The goal

Build four piles on the foundations, one per suit, from Ace up to King. Finish all 52 cards and you solve the deal.

The table

• Seven columns make up the tableau. Only the bottom card of each column starts face up.
• The stock holds the remaining 24 cards.
• Foundations sit on the left, and the stock is on the right.

Moves

• In the columns, stack cards downward in alternating colors, like a black 8 on a red 9.
• Move a run of face-up cards together as long as it follows that pattern.
• Only a King can go into an empty column.
• Tap the stock to draw three cards. Only the top one of the three can be played.
• When the stock runs out, you can reshuffle it and go again, as often as you like. Each reshuffle costs points.
• Undo takes back one move at a time. Each undo also costs points.

The clock

You have five minutes. Solving the deal submits your score automatically. Stuck? Tap Exit and submit to lock in what you have.

Every player in the tournament gets the same deal, and every deal is checked in advance to make sure it can be won. There are no hints.
