How is Nines scored?
40 points for each correct cell, minus 20 for each wrong digit left at the end. Finish the puzzle for a 3,000 point bonus plus a time bonus.

Your score cannot go below zero.
Things to know
- Only your final grid counts. A wrong digit you fix before time runs out costs nothing.
- The bonuses need a finished puzzle. If time runs out first, you score the correct cells only, minus any wrong digits.
- Speed matters. The time bonus is measured to a fraction of a second, so the faster solver almost always wins.
