What happens if my withdrawal is declined?
The full amount returns to your Deku balance, including any fee, along with the bonus cash that was removed. We tell you why when we can.

If a withdrawal is declined or fails, nothing is lost:
- The amount you requested goes back to your Deku balance.
- Any withdrawal fee is returned with it.
- The bonus cash that was removed when you submitted is restored.
Why a withdrawal can be declined
- The payout details were rejected by your bank, card issuer, PayPal or Venmo
- Identity verification is incomplete or needs updating
- There is an open investigation or an unresolved chargeback on the account
We let you know the reason to the extent we are allowed to. Once the issue is fixed, you can submit a new withdrawal.
