How are prizes calculated?

Add up the entry fees, take out the platform fee, and what is left is the prize pool. A 1v1 winner takes all of it. In Group, the top three share it 60, 30 and 10 percent.

The formula

Prize pool = all entry fees minus the platform fee

FormatHow the pool is paid
1v1Winner gets 100%
Group1st 60%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 10%

Two examples

1v1, $10 entry

  • Entry fees: 2 x $10 = $20.00
  • Platform fee (15%): $3.00
  • Prize to the winner: $17.00

Group, four players, $10 entry

  • Entry fees: 4 x $10 = $40.00
  • Platform fee (17.5%): $7.00
  • Prize pool: $33.00
  • 1st: $19.80, 2nd: $9.90, 3rd: $3.30

The fewer players who join a Group tournament, the smaller the pool, but the percentages stay the same. The entry screen shows the prize pool and how it is split before you join.

Getting paid

Cash prizes go straight into your balance as withdrawable cash, even if you paid part of the entry with bonus cash. Acorn tournaments pay acorns with the same 60, 30 and 10 split.
